It’s been 2 months since the large ship-shaped stage at Copenhagen’s B&W-Hallerne fell silent and dark, the representatives of each of the 37 competing countries in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 sang their last (for that week at least) and the enthusiastic audience members went home, counting down the day till Eurovision 2015 in Austria.

Glorious though the music was, no song more so that the electrifyingly evocative “Rise Like a Phoenix” by highly deserved winner Conchita Wurst from Austria, who re-affirmed in the best way possible that Eurovision is all about celebrating diversity, peace and inclusion, there wasn’t a way till now to dance to all of it.

Of course you could dance yourself into a glitter-covered, sweaty frenzy with the psych pop delights of France’s Twins entry “Moustache” (which deserved far more points than it attracted), Estonia’s Tanya and the soaring delights of “Amazing”, and Emma’s Marone’s La mia città (The City)”, the official track for Italy, but some of the quieter, beautifully moving songs hadn’t received the full dancefloor treatment until now.

Thanks to the amazing talents of Eurovisionaer, brought to my attention by the awesome folks at Wiwibloggs, all the tracks plus samples of the Danish telecast hosts’ dialogue on the three big nights (two semi finals and a grand final) have been ingeniously brought together in a re-mix that will keep you dancing your nights, days and everything inbetween filled away with the gloriously infectious music of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014.

It should keep you busy till May next year at the very least!
