There’s every chance that a nurse as skilled as Nurse Jackie (Edie Falco) could do that in a heartbeat, but she’s also a flawed human being, an addict, a mother and a 1001 other complicating things so the heartbeat has ended up being more like five hilariously funny seasons with no signs of recovery just yet.
But would it be the Nurse Jackie we know and love if new leaves were turned and stayed that way?
And now she is back for a sixth season with Nurse Jackie giving every impression to everyone around her that she is a changed woman, a gym junkie, clearheaded and completely in control of her life.
But as we all know appearances can be deceiving and things may not be quite as on the up-and-up as they might seem if the 30 second preview video below is any guide.
As the narrator sagely says “Something this good must be bad.”
