TV cartoon fun! Say hello to Jellystone! and Chip and Dale

I am a big kid at heart.

One of the most obvious manifestations of my childlike-ness is my love of animation, which began all the way back when, at it does for so many people, when I was a kid.

I have enormously fond memories of school holidays or Saturday mornings spent watching cartoon after cartoon, a lot of them either from Hanna-Barbera, Looney Tunes or Disney (though, being Australia, there was a lot of British programming too) and all of them still very fondly held in my heart.

So imagine my delight – go on, I’ll wait – when I found that two new programs were coming to small screens everywhere, one of them a nod to the evergreen fun of Hanna-Barbera and the other, a revival of two closely-bound characters whom I have always loved for their cheekiness and bravado.

It’s exciting news and both the trailers indicate a lot of manic hilarity is coming our way …
